Ordering Information, Shipping & Refund Policy
Ordering products on our site is safe and secure. We use PayPal Billing because of their superior attention to providing a secure web shopping experience.
We do not sell, lease or give away your personal information nor do we keep your credit card information anywhere in our shopping cart or system files.
Dog treats and pastries have a flat shipping fee of $8.00. For dog food, in addition to regular shipping charges, we charge a shipping surcharge for dog food based on weight: $16.00 up to 14 lbs., $20.00 for 15 to 30 lbs., and $30.00 for 31 to 66 lbs. We DO combine orders, but our perishable doggy diets must be shipped separate from our fresh baked treats.The fee will be added to your final order at check-out. Shipping is sent via UPS. All orders are processed through the manufacturer, Chef K9's Doggy Bistro & Bakery. Chef K9's Doggy Bistro & Bakery is not responsible for shipping delays, but we are committed to accurate and expedient processing. We cannot ship to PO Boxes.
Please consider ordering enough food to save on shipping costs. We guarantee items will be delivered fresh and cold to your door.
Our perishable items are shipped in insulated boxes intended for the shipping of perishable food items. Depending on area of delivery, we may use gel-paks, dry ice, and/or a combination of the two. The shipping surcharge covers the cost of these items. We do not profit off the surcharge or shipping charges.
We ship orders on Mondays & Tuesdays to ensure delivery by the weekend.
It is always advisable to make sure that someone will be available to receive the shipment. Please immediately inspect your shipment. Check that the correct items have been delivered and that there are no damaged or thawed (some thawing is acceptable, but should not arrive warm) items, shortages, overages or any other discrepancies. All frozen items must be immediately placed in your freezer to preserve the integrity of the product. Perishables (frozen items) are shipped separately from non-perishable items.
Refund / Return Policy and Procedure
Any discrepancy with your order must be brought to our attention within 24 hours of receipt of goods. We guarantee our products to be free of manufacturer's defect. Because our diets are perishable items, we do not accept returns/refunds on unwanted product. You may email us at email@example.com or by phone (954)270-CHEF so that we may assist you with any problem or discrepancies.
SHIPPING FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE (This includes any shipping surcharge required to deliver perishable items).
